Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Welcome to Broome
Your journey begins as you arrive in Broome, where you’ll be greeted and transferred to the iconic Cable Beach Club Resort and Spa. After settling in, enjoy a gentle introduction to this colourful coastal town before preparing for the evening.
As the sun begins to set, enjoy a sunset tour along Cable Beach. Framed by the breathtaking Kimberley sky over the Indian Ocean, it’s one of the most photographed experiences in Western Australia.
Return to the resort for a welcome dinner at the Sunset Bar & Grill before resting overnight at Cable Beach Resort.
Day 2: Broome > Tunnel Creek > Windjana Gorge > Mount Hart
Set off early in the morning in the comfort of our luxury 4WD coach. Stop by Prison Boab Tree (Kunumudj) which is over 1,500 years old and a culturally significant site for the local Nyikina and Warrwa people.
Journey onto the world-renowned Gibb River Road to Tunnel Creek (Dimalurru). Delve into the depths of this intricate tunnel system, spanning 750 metres.
Continue to Windjana Gorge (Bandilngan) to explore the towering limestone cliffs and pristine riverbed. As you explore, keep an eye out for crocodiles, alongside birdlife and other fascinating Kimberley wildlife.
Continue along the Gibb River Road to the West Kimberley’s outback oasis, Mount Hart Wilderness Lodge, located within the Wunaamin Miliwundi Ranges. On the drive in, learn about the history of the lodge, and discover why Mount Hart is known as “The Ultimate Gibb River Road Adventure!”
Settle into your accommodation before heading to Pippa's Corner Restaurant for a premium three-course dining experience, crafted from Western Australian premium produce.
After dinner, stroll back to your accommodation beneath one of the clearest skies in the world. Pause for a moment, look up, and take in the breathtaking sight of the Milky Way.
Day 3: Mount Hart > Twin Flame Falls > Mount Hart
Start the morning with breakfast at Pippa’s Corner, and prepare for an unforgettable day.
In the morning, visit some of Mount Hart’s local gorges and swimming spots, including the tranquil Matthew Gorge (Dawungumen Mindi) and crystal-lined Barker Pool (Dudungarri Mindi), before heading back to Pippa's Corner Restaurant for lunch.
In the afternoon, take to the skies on a breathtaking helicopter flight before landing at Twin Flame Falls (Walunda), a towering 300-foot, two-tiered waterfall that will leave you speechless. Surrounded by towering red rock cliffs, enjoy an outback picnic, guided hike, and swim under a hidden waterfall in one of the Kimberley’s most remote natural wonders, that is inaccessible by 4WD.
In the evening, gather for a premium three-course dinner at Pippa’s Corner Restaurant.
Day 4: Mount Hart > Bell Gorge > Mount Hart
Begin your day with a hearty breakfast at Pippa’s Corner before setting out along the Gibb River Road to the iconic Bell Gorge (Dalmanyi). Surrounded by towering cliffs and cascading waterfalls, embark on a guided hike into the gorge, where you can enjoy a refreshing swim in the natural top pool. For those seeking a little more adventure, continue with a rock climb down to the lower pool to immerse yourself in its cool waters.
For lunch, enjoy an outback picnic lunch at the gorge, before journeying back to Mount Hart via the Gibb River Road.
In the evening, enjoy another premium three-course dinner at Pippa’s Corner Restaurant.
Day 5: Mount Hart > Bungle Bungles > Mount Hart
Enjoy breakfast at Mount Hart before boarding a charter plane to the Bungle Bungle Range. Formed over 350 million years ago, the range is located within the Purnululu National Park. Marvel at the striking beehive-shaped sandstone domes from above, on a breathtaking aerial circuit, before landing to explore the extraordinary natural wonder.
Touch down for morning tea before embarking on a guided walk into Cathedral Gorge, a natural amphitheatre renowned for its dramatic crimson canyon and remarkable acoustics. Learn about the cultural and geological significance of this site as you explore, before pausing to enjoy a picnic-style lunch amid this incredible landscape.
In the afternoon, board another charter plane back to Mount Hart, where you will enjoy a dinner under the stars at Uncle Tony’s Jungle Bar.
Day 6: Mount Hart > Horizontal Falls > Dampier Peninsula
Enjoy your final breakfast at Mount Hart before boarding a charter flight to Derby. Here, board a seaplane to one of the Kimberley's most famous landmarks, Horizontal Falls. Fly over the amazing islands of the Buccaneer Archipelago before landing on the calm turquoise waters of Talbot Bay. After landing, continue with a power boat ride through the falls, plus a relaxed island cruise followed by a shark show and swim in the marine viewing platform.
In the afternoon, fly back to Derby and board another charter plane to Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm, one of the last marine wilderness frontiers in the world. As the sun sets, sit down for dinner at the Homestead Restaurant, where the menu draws inspiration from pearling history with Indigenous herbs and spices, Asian-inspired dishes, local seafood and meats. You may even have the rare opportunity to try a delicacy unique to the farm, Pinctada maxima pearl meat. After dinner, retreat to your luxurious accommodation for the night.
Day 7: Dampier Peninsula > Beagle Bay > Broome
Begin your morning with breakfast before your day of adventure at Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm. Embark on a Pearl Farm Tour, offering a fascinating insight into the history of pearling in Cygnet Bay and how some of the most beautiful pearls in the world are cultivated. Later, set out on a Sea Safari Tour that takes you through the Kimberley Coast, fringing the famous Buccaneer Archipelago.
Depart Cygnet Bay to Beagle Bay and marvel at the meticulously maintained Beagle Bay Church. Built by missionaries to benefit the community, the church is famous for its mother-of-pearl shell altar.
Journey towards Broome and learn about the history of the region and the Kimberley’s unique features, from the striking pindan landscape to the resilience of the land due to the region's extreme weather conditions.
Arrive back in Broome by evening and settle in for your final night at Cable Beach Club Resort and Spa, the perfect place to relax and unwind. Here, your extraordinary Kimberley journey comes to a close, leaving you with memories that will last a lifetime.
